Kia Ora e hoa ma,
I hope you enjoyed o week and your first few days! It was so amazing to see the hard work of the MAWSA team come together to produce events that you all loved. Walking around campus seeing people pumped for the toga party or waiting in line for all the free food and just buzzing in general was the best thing ever.
I’m very excited for the year ahead as your President and trust that this will also be an exciting time for you also as you start to settle in after the o week craziness!
The amazing team and executive at MAWSA are here to provide strong tautoko in any way we can and if you need to chat or need help, come in and see us.
It will be a busy few weeks so don’t stress! Get involved,
join a club, sign up to the health and counselling service and take uni life in. You’ll make close friends and special memories here no doubt.
Can’t wait to see you all around campus, looking forward to chatting to you all.
Kia kaha, kia maia, kia manawanui.
