Kia ora koutou!

One Semester down. No matter what the grades or how far you have to go, congratulations. For new students, welcome on board. MUSA is your fully independent student association that works to make uni the best time of your life, whatever it takes.

So, what has MUSA done for students last semester?  You can now enjoy regular MUSA Lounge-A-Go-Go’s each fortnight (with free alcohol and live performances), weekly free food on campus from Just Zilch, and be challenged by the local Thursdays in Black group’s work towards a sexual violence free world.  Fighting to recognise student enrolment issues up to the highest levels and lobbying for later bus services, MUSA has been a strong voice for students and is now working with Horizons Regional Council and Massey University to achieve later bus services.

What next? We are developing a great line-up of mental health initiatives led by our Welfare Officer Ngahuia, celebrating the return of the Arts and Cultural Festival led by Gunhild our Clubs Coordinator, and much more from building student voice to even more cool events.

But this means nothing without you, your ideas, and your challenges.  MUSA is led by students, for students, so please say hi and drop in for a chat.  We’re a friendly bunchy and look forward to meeting you.
