This month’s cover art was created by the enormously talented, but secretive, group BMD. Inspired by the artwork (opposite) the idea was to paint a human cut up. The image is very striking and a tribute to their skill with paint, and their photographer’s use of light to create the dramatic effect.

The feature on Erskine featured photography generously provided by Massey graduate, Steven Buck. Steven is an up-and-coming photographer and artist from Wellington, New Zealand. He specialises in documentary and art-based photography work, but also photographs portraiture, glamour and advertising material commercially.
